My mother used to say,

"Let tomorrow come"

when presented with

issues beyond her,

or asked questions whose

answers were far from her.

She would say,

everything is better in the

morning.

Even night turns to day.

So, let tomorrow come.

Let it come with hope

renewed.

Let it come, and turn hurt

into past, and past into

memories that can be buried.

Of all the gifts my mother

gave me, the not so certain

promise of tomorrow, and the

gift of hope is my favorite.
